Dining Experience: The dining experience for residents is important in our Home. The meal service allows residents to dine together while having a formal dining experience for every meal in the dining room.
Recreation Therapy: LTC currently has a full-time recreational therapist providing a wide range of activities for residents. These activities allow residents to engage with other residents within the Home on a day-to-day basis.
Nursing Care Unit (NCU)
The Nursing Care Unit (NCU) is our medical unit that accepts patients, from the West Nipissing region, requiring a hospital stay. We have 21 medical beds, 2 pediatric beds, 1 dedicated Hospice suite, and 6 designated Alternate Level of Care (ALC) beds. Under the NCU umbrella, we also have 19 dedicated Complex Continuing Care (CCC) beds, for patients requiring longer stay, more complex and specialized services not available in their community, or long term care placement.
