West Nipissing General Hospital is dedicated to providing accessible care and services for its customers in the manner that respects the dignity and independence of all clients, which include persons with disabilities. WNGH is committed to meeting the standard's outlined in the province's Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA).
In accordance with the AODA, WNGH maintains a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan and works to identify, remove, and prevent barriers to accessibility. Accessibility policies are available upon request.
Upon request, the Accessibility Plan can be provided in alternate formats and/or with communication support.
French Language Services
As language is a factor in care quality, West Nipissing General Hospital will assure services are provided in both official languages, French and English.
WNGH has received designation under the French Language Services Act, (FLSA) demonstrating excellence in the provision of services in French and in meeting the needs of our culturally and linguistically diverse population.
